Here is is! The Huge announcement!
Starting in 2016 I am specializing in Highschool Senior Portrait Photography.
Why?
My eyes have been opened to a cultural problem that I’m just not okay with. I burn with passion about it. The problem? Girls who have no self confidence, no self worth, and who look like everyone else around them! The opportunity to make a change has opened up before me, and I’m doing something about it.
My mission: to teach girls that they are perfect just the way they are. That they are BEAUTIFUL. VALUABLE. and ONE OF A KIND. This is something I take very seriously and want to take it upon myself personally to teach. Too many young girls believe they aren’t enough, don’t have enough, don’t do enough, and will never be enough. In our culture we are taught to be clones of everyone else, but I believe that is not how we were intended. We’re intended to be perfectly, imperfect.
You have something incredible (and incredibly different) about you and the world needs to see it. The world needs YOU!
I feel I have been given the gift of photography to teach just that. To chase majestic sunsets, run through tall grass, and to find beauty in normally less then perfect circumstances. Making ordinary, seem extraordinary. To tell stupid jokes just to get that laugh. To meet new people and tell their story through my camera lens. I’ve been able to merge my passions.
I picked up my camera in 2011 and haven’t been able to put it down since. I have done a little bit of everything; you name it, I’ve photographed it. However, I have finally found where my true passion lies: Senior Portrait Photography. I’m a firm believer that if you are a jack of all trades, you will be a master of none.
To kick off this new season of change, I have something very special in store! Starting January 1st, I will be taking applications for a very special opportunity.
What is this opportunity you may ask?
If you are a junior girl graduating the class of 2017, this is for you!!
